From time to time we get stuff emailed through to us and we thought this is worth showing on our blog...

a guy by the name of Matt Smart sent these sketches through recently and we think they look as good as some of the more established artists out there doing stuff on the streets, in bars and on t-shirts....expect to see more from him soon we hope..

While we're on the subject of store feedback..this months winner of the free stock is Miss C. Wood of Warkwickshire for handing us some very good feedback on her preference of store photography and that she'd like to see more angles on certain products...its something we're working on!

MORE ADVERTISING??

A lot of customers are leaving feedback on our site saying that we could with advertising more! People are mentioning that they only found our site by luck on the search engines..

We'd like to know where to advertise...Which magazines do you think are worthwhile advertising in? Which do you read the most? Should we choose specialist sport mags or general fashion/lifestyle mags....the range we stock is very difficult to pin down to one style of mag in my mind....but we'd love to hear your comments..

TK421, WHY AREN'T YOU AT YOUR POST?

We're all very jealous at the moment....

A mate of ours has managed to lay his hands on an original Gino Follano signed Stormtrooper armour and helmet....all signed by the guy who cast a load of suits from the original Shepperton Studio outfits for Star Wars in 1977...Mr Lucas wasn't very happy and tried sueing poor old Gino and hence he stopped making them!

Our lucky mate has just got his white patent boots from the states and is waiting to pick up the replica gun from a local replica arms store to finish off the look...hopefully we'll be borrowing the outfit for the Urban Industry Store for a short time as a cool talking piece for local customers..

STUSSY Vs. VIZ LTD ED. T-SHIRTS IN THIS MONTH

It shouldn't be long now...we should be taking delivery on the limited edition Stussy Vs Viz Comic T-Shirts any day now...

As Stussy turns 25 years old this year they are joining forces with Viz comic which is also, amazingly, 25!

The limited run features Stussy hooking up with Viz characters Roger Mellie, Jonny FartPants and Big Vern...don't expect these to hang around very long!

NEW BRAND!! - AMBIGIUOS CLOTHING COMING TO URBAN INDUSTRY THIS MONTH

This month sees our first Delivery and indeed the UK's first delivery of Californian based brand Ambiguous Clothing. Urban Industry will be one of a very small handful of stores stocking this label. If you've been out in the states on holiday recently you may well have seen the Ambiguous Clothing range in some of the better stores and by all accounts it looks like its doing big things. The background is Skate and surf and they have a top team of riders as do most.

What really makes Ambiguous Clothing stand out from the crowd is the crazy attention to detail on their garments. Properly designed and cut shirts, with loads of subtle design features, these beauties are as good as any top shirt brand but with the skate design and feel. The denims are also second to none. Quality heavyweight denim, a massive range of washes and loads of design thought put into them...we can't wait to get this label in and going!

Eastpak Vs. Mysterious Al Limited Ed. Packs

Just received the first pack shots of the Eastpak Limited Edition Mysterious Al bags and how cool do they look!

The UK based scribbler whose work can be spotted in cities all over the world, has designed three limited edition prints for Eastpak Bags carrying on the new line of artist collaboration from the very popular Jamie Hewitt collection.

The artist describes the prints: Old Team are Egyptian mummies. They like eating sand and putting curses on people…Mask Team are shadow demons. They like drinking and fighting…they’re a dangerous mob! Dark Team hmmmm…Ghosts. They like Black Sabbath and live in the forest where they spend time practising being spooky and rocking out!
